Milan Fashion Week Fall 2013/14
High Collars. Collars were high emphasising the Edwardian feel through out the International collections.

Tartan. Blame it on Chanel for the pre-fall collection held in the Scottish highlands for more than one Milanese designers paid odes to the Scottish turning the runways into a veritable tribe.

Colourful Fur. Fur was definitely in the air as designers embraced full on pelts with a vengeance to create wholly new hybrids in colour.

Monochrome. The classic trend is still going strong for fall.

Stripes. Stripes were holding court when it came to Milan Fashion Week.

Slits. Next fall will be about thigh baring with slit slashed dresses, skirts and coats.

Leather. Candy coloured, supple as cotton, and possessive of an inner steel, leather gave a little edge to the everyday look.

Evening Glamour. Evening wear was ethereal and embraced the body beautifully with body conscious gowns.

Off the Shoulder. It’s about wearing that fall off the shoulder with strapless dresses and tops for elegance.

Tunic Dresses. Winter silhouettes will be short and saucy with cute little tunic dresses to make everything better.
