Spring Florals.

From L-R: Moschino, Chanel, Clements Ribeiro, Oscar De La Renta and Dolce and Gabbana

Sculpted blooms, sequined sprigs and textured lace bouquets all blossomed on the runways when it came to summer/spring 2012/13 collections. And this season’s florals are taking shape via embroidery and embellishment from Dolce and Gabbana, Simone Rocha, Moschino to Bottega Veneta. Think sixties styles, luscious roses and poppies.
Now that Spring has sprung, cheery florals are in full bloom off the runways making them the ultimate badge of summer/spring femininity.
If the combination of feminine with the brightest of hues is too daring, you can work the trend in a conservative color palette like Chloe Sevigny and Zoe Saldana or you can let the bright prints bloom in full capacity like Emmy Rossum and Gwyneth Paltrow.
