BET Awards 2013.

The BET Awards were a parade of sassy cleavage windows, sheer panels and crop tops. There was more bared torso both subtle and overt than any red carpet has seen in a while. Here’s a look at some of the red carpet trends to make it at the BET Awards.

White On White.
Brandy, Mya, Ashanti and Paula Patton went for one of summer’s biggest trend for the BET Awards.

Split Dresses.
Thigh high slits on dresses remain a favourite red carpet trend for celebrities at Award shows.

Long Sleeves.
Long sleeved gowns and minis were aplenty on the red carpet courtesy of Beverly Knight, La La Anthony and Naya Rivera.

Bared Shoulders.
While lots of cleavage was on display with plunging necklines, Sanaa Lathan, Gabrielle Union and Gabby Douglas opted for bared shoulders with sweetheart necklines.

Menswear.
T.I, Pharell Williams and Jamie Foxx kept it classic and cool with their suits and ties while Nelly, J.Cole and Kendric Lamar opted for a more casual look.
