Long Sleeves.

Long sleeved gowns are everywhere on the red carpet lately with Christina Applegate, Diane Kruger and Leann Rimes all stepping out in body covering ensembles. Clearly the head to toe covered look is having a major moment right now. Diane Kruger wore a long sleeved beaded Valentino gown to the European Film Awards in Berlin, Evangeline Lily followed suit in a lace and feathered Alberta Ferretti creation for the Berlin premiere of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and the Duchess of Cambridge Catherine attended the London premiere of Mandela: A Long Walk To Freedom in a white Roland Mouret gown with a side slit.

You can take a leaf from Katy Perry in Osman at the NRJ Awards, Khloe Kardashian in a white long sleeved mini at the Women in entertainment breakfast and Michelle Dockery in a pale pink Marchesa mini at the season premiere of Downton Abbey who prefer leg baring long sleeved mini dresses, if the covered up look isn’t your style.
