Paris Fashion Week ss13.

It is only fitting that fashion week comes to an end in a city known for its glamor, beauty and high fashion, Paris- the fashion capital of the world. Here is a look at the trends the capital of fashion has to offer next spring and summer from its impeccable collections.

Power Suits. Menswear inspired suits met the feminine touch at Christian Dior, Balmain, Lanvin and Roland Mouret when models took to the runway in slinky, tapered suits.

High-waist Trousers. Tapered, tight and high at the waist trousers walked the runways of Maison Martin Margiela, Roland Mouret, Balmain and Tsumori Chisato.

Asymmetrical Shoulders. Isabel Marant, Vionnet, Givenchy and Chloe brought back the asymmetry cut as dresses and jumpsuits fell from one side of the shoulders at fashion week.

Tea-Length Hemlines. Unlike Milan where hemlines were short, Parisian hemlines erred on the demure midi/tea-length at Rochas, Manish Arora, Christian Dior and Balenciaga.

Maxi Skirts. Maxi skirts wafted gently down the catwalks of  Alexis Mabille, Artsuro Tayama, Viktor + Rolf as well as Louis Vuitton at Paris Fashion Week.
