Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards are notorious for being the most laid-back show of the awards season, so when it comes to dressing for the event, our favorite stars tend to opt for fun over formal. And this year was no different. The orange carpet was filled with stunning celebs who looked like they were decked out for the ultimate warm weather party, which is pretty much what the Kids' Choice Awards are all about. These are trends that stood out most at the Kids Choice Awards.

Shorts. Shorts turned out to be failsafe fashion move of the evening with – Selena Gomez, Zoey Deutch and Kaley Cuoco tailoring up.

Boys In Blue.  From Kendal Schmidt’s baby blue striped over shirt to Nathan Kress’ navy blue blazer, blue was quite popular when it came to the boys.

Bold Pink. The Kids Choice Awards brought out a bold beauty moment with Ariana Grande, Lea Michele and Debby Ryan all opting for pretty shades of pink to liven up their complexions with a bold lip colour.
