Cover Up In Cape Coats.

This year, capes are dominating catwalks and red carpets alike, with the elegant cover-up spilling over into evening wear. Once known mostly as a superhero style staple, the fashion world has gone wild for capes this season with Miu Miu, Comme des Garçons and Givenchy all incorporating the look into their collections.
While Miu Miu showed mannish tailoring and tweed prints in Paris, Comme des Garçons opted for bright, oversized coat-style capes. At Givenchy, Riccardo Tisci shared his take on the trend with an edgy jet black and bejewelled mini version of the must-have item. While a statement cape works wonders for a standout evening look and flatters any dress style and length, the opportunities for a great daytime look are also endless.

It’s Definitely Leather Pants!

Leather made its way into the fashion collections for Fall/Winter 2012-13 around the world meaning it isn’t just for accessories and jackets. This season, leather apparel  most especially leggings and pants are taking center stage. Celebrities like Miranda Kerr and Malin Akerman have been spotted in leather leggings more than once. They add a chic rocker vibe to the most casual of ensembles. Separates like tops and skirts are great for adding a little edge to any ensemble, while a leather dress shows you take this trend seriously.

Fall Shoe Trends.

Time to put away the flip flops and bring out the boots. As the weather gets nippy and cold, these are some of the fall shoe trends to keep you warm and toasty at the same time fashionable.

Ankle Booties. These little booties will add rocker edge to any fun and flirty outfit. Try embellished or fur trimmed ankle booties to get out of the neutral colors.


Cap toe flats. Cap toed flats are good for running around in; an alternative to the cap toe heels. They are fabulous, and having quite a fashionable moment.


High Boots. These are shoe essential staples because they bring an outfit together. Instead of the dull normal colours of black and brown; opt for fur trimmed, embellished, sued or fringe high boots.


Embellished Heels. Perfect candy for your feet. Shoes with embellished heels are a guaranteed way of making your neutral outfit pop and make you stand out.
