Polka Dots. There was a smattering of polka dots on cotton, silk and organza with a surprise combination of polka dots and stripes ala Christopher Bailey over at Burberry Prorsum.

Zoe Saldana, Sarah Jessica Parker and the Duchess have all been wearing spotted prints recently and it was only a matter of time until the rest of Hollywood caught on. Sarah Jessica Parker stepped out wearing a spotted number, Zoe Saldana wore an Emanuel Ungaro top and dotted skirt to the Cannes photocall of her movie Blood Ties, and Kate Middleton chose a spotted coat dress for an event in London.
Polka Dots have been a style staple for decades and Jil Sander, Haider Ackermann, Rue Du Mail, Misson and Antonio Marras certainly littered their summer/spring 2013 runway collections with them for the youthful edge. Since they're incredibly versatile, lots of fun, and oh-so-cute, it's no wonder this particular print is a perennial summer favorite. Whether you're sporting just a few or assembling a full-on look, it's hard to go wrong when you're rocking dots.
