Milan Fashion Week Spring 2014 Trends.
Slits. Versace, Gucci and Costume National provided the dose of sexy with slashed skirts and dresses.

Ruffles. On collars, hems, tops and as embellishment on skirts, this girly frill is definitely back.

Sports Luxe. There was a feeling of athleticism at Prada with the sports socks, Emilio Pucci used wrestler inspired belts and Gucci went for sporty chic instead of high glamour.

Pencil Skirts. Tight and a little fitted to the silhouette, the pencil skirt made its mark on the runways of Milan.

Wide Sleeves. Dolce and Gabbana are popularly known for their love of the wide sleeve, this time round, Emilio Pucci, Gucci and Bottega Veneta joined their love for spring 2014.

Tiers. Skirt length came down in increments at Bottega Veneta and at Fendi, colours cascaded and faded to the palest shades in tiers.

One Shoulder. Bold and voluminous on one side, Milan is about the one shoulder come spring 2014.

Shorts. If its not slits then it is definitely shorts. Leg baring is very much in season.

Crop Tops. Bra and crop tops paired with maxi skirts, high waist pants and skirts peaked out of hooded coats and dainty shoulders.

Wide Leg Pants. More on the high-waist than low cut and slouchy in the silhouette that’s been going through out fashion month, wide leg pants are gaining momentum.
