Color Pop.

Celebrities embraced ultra bright colors that resulted in a few head turning moments. Jennifer Lopez let her wild side out in a mustard hued The 2nd Skin Co. leather dress for a screening of ‘American Idol’ in Hollywood. Not one to hide her curves, Sofia Vergara slipped into an impeccably fitted mint Michael Kors  sheath with sheer inserts for a guest appearance on “Good Morning America.” Looking young and fresh in head-to-toe tangerine, Solange Knowles attended the launch of Choo.08° in Beverly Hills in a skin-baring blazer and Acne Studios skirt. Karolina Kurkova made a dramatic entrance to the IWC – hosted “For the Love of Cinema” dinner in a colour-blocked draped dress from Roksanda Illincic and Greta Gerwig was a breath of fresh air in a hot pink and white tartan Chanel summer/spring 2013 dress at the Tribeca Film Festival Chanel party.

Spring 2014 couldn’t arrive sooner for Solange Knowles, Ciara and Naomie Harris who have all dipped into one of its biggest trends: Mesh.
Naya Rivera sported a pantsuit with mesh sleeves, Naomie Harris stepped out in a Valentino gown with mesh panels where slits might have been and Ciara wore an illusion J.Mendel mesh gown for the 2013 American Music Awards.
This trend was on high rotation during spring 2014 collections fashion week at Blumarine, Gucci, Balmain, Akris and Roksanda Illincic. During fall/winter, layer this netted fabric over a heavier material for insulation. Come spring, wear mesh over a black (or a daring hue) camisole.
